The design and validation of components and systems in the field of automotive engineering is to be optimised using AI methods. The aim is to methodically shorten and significantly streamline the test and trial phase.



With the development of a simulation model for the predictive quantification of vehicle and component loads, customer requirements as well as application-specific vehicle configurations can be calculated and evaluated in advance. System-relevant usage and load profiles are collected as the basis for predictive maintenance algorithms by means of extensive data collection during customer use. Based on these measurements and a simulation model that takes into account the thermal, electrical and mechanical disturbance variables, a digital twin is set up and an algorithm for the predictive calculation of load collectives is developed.

These are then tested and analysed in a fleet test.
